Hi all,

This recall was Campaign Code SU.  I am looking at a letter I received
several years ago describing the A/C ducts.

Remedy:  "Your Volkswagen service technician will secure the air flow ducts
by installing a reinforcement bracket.  Brackets are available at Volkswagen
repair facilities."

I had fixed mine myself before this recall so I have never followed through
with it.

Center ventilation duct could break and fall on passenger.
Models:
29,500 vans, with factory-installed air-conditioner, made 8/85-6/91.
What to do:
Have dealer install reinforcement plates at center and rear airflow ducts.

Volkswagen EuroVan '93
Steering could fail.
Models:
8350 vans made 7/92-1/93.
What to do:
Have dealer replace bolt in steering assembly.
