I just returned early from my big cross-country trip, due to a broken 4th
gear in the Syncro trans. (Of course, Murphy's law dictated that it would
happen at a point 2600 miles from home!) The trans was rebuilt last year, no
signs of needing a gear at that point. So, while it is apart, and since the
Syncro has the torquey 1.9 TD engine now, I would like to raise the ratio in
4th, if not 3rd and 4th. So, where is a good source for the different
gearing? Any leads are much appreciated.
