I have noticed a couple of differences between my '85 Westy and my former '86
GL. The '85 heats up quicker. Is this due to the different coolant layout,
steel pipes or what? Maybe the PO removed the thermostat? ; )
The starter is the lower torque variety that was beefed up in '86. Can I put in
an '86+ if I increase the wire sizes? My '85 always starts, but it is slow
cranking.
