Hey Keith,
Malahat Auto has lots of vanagons and are good people to deal with ---
they're in Victoria BC which isn't too far, shipping wise, from you, Relevant
details at http://www.motorsmart.com/malahat.htm ---- you West Coast listees is
the US might find them useful too --- given the atrocious difference in the Cdn
and US dollars. I picked a few parts from them last summer while I was out there
---- wish I'd grabbed more now.
Cheers,
Doug

Subject: parts needed in Canada
Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone in Canada has a pre-86 Vanagon they are
parting? I would like to get ahold of the headlight buckets (and maybe
the grill) without spending too much money. I want to convert my square
headlight-ed 86 to rounds so I can put E1 spec lights in without
breaking the bank. Wrecking yards around here just guffaw when I ask if
they have a Vanagon. There is one local shop that said they could get
their hands on them, but they're kind of crooked, and I'd rather not
give them my money.
I don't want to spend too much because I may decide I don't like it and
switch back!
Thanks,
Keith Adams
