This sounds very bad like you threw a rod or something (hope it isn't this
but it sounds like it).
As for remote starter switches, you can buy these from NAPA or similar for
around $20-30.  Hope things work out for you.

The Blue Smoke is oil smoke, coupled with your no start and oil puddles I
would say catastrophic failure would be likely.
