Folks and Adventurewageners,

On occasion since last Summer I have posted here that Adventurewagen in Ft.
Bragg, CA was ceasing production as of 12/31/99. Turns out they couldn't
part with their Mendocino home so the Anderson's have decided to continue
operations for at least another 2-3 years. Their phone number is
800-924-3605. While Ed Anderson, the owner, won't be around as often there
will be employees who can field calls. A new website in the process of being
created.

While the company only produces a Ford Club Wagon camper van conversion they
have some parts that are still compatible with our Vanagon Adventurewagens.
Also, as mentioned before, Ed sells used Vanagons and Fords Adventurewagens
on a consignment or finder fee basis. I just put in an upgrade order for a
clean white 1990 or 1991 Syncro Adventurewagen. I realize I'll probably be
waiting a long time but I can still dream.
