Visiting the Outer Banks (Hatteras Island) this weekend.  Made a normal
attempt to shift down from fourth to third and nothing happened.  The shifter
appears to be moving everything properly up to point it enters the
transmission.  After stopping in moving the shifter around it may have moved
to reverse but seemed like a "high" reverse because the car wouldn't move
easily and I stopped trying.  (As you can tell) I am no mechanic so I need to
get towed somewhere - AAA will get me 100 miles - any recommendations?
Elizabeth City, Norfolk, Va Beach?  Any other ideas?
