> About how long does it take to install a front heater blower motor? It's a major PITA. When they built Vanagons, they started with the heater blower system and then built the rest of the van around it. Not quite, but it seems like it. You have to remove the entire dash, take the housing out, break the seams on it without destroying it, take the fan out, refit the new fan, repair the housing somehow and then put all that crap back. > Which is $375 not including the part cost, to install it. How come this > sounds like a bunch of bull** to me? Sorry, but that's probably not too far off. I'd make real sure that it's not something other than that before I had the blower R&Rd. And don't even think about using a used blower unless you want to do it again real soon. -Karl Karl and Kristina Bloss, Trexlertown, PA '87 Westfalia Weekender "Beverley" - 196K miles http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/ PA/NJ Vanagon owner's mailing list: http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/pavanagon/
