the days of surfacing the heads are over at least for me new heads are
the only way to go the trouble with machining the outer surface is that
you cant take any meat off the inner head gasket surface to match the
orignal demention because the spark plug threads are then open to the
chamber and thats not a good thing
I was gringing out the pitts and then adding aluminum then surfacing the
gasket surface
