Newby question. I've got about 1500 miles on my rebuilt 83.5 engine. It
is sucking down oil at a prodigous rate. I keep dumping a quart in about
every 700 miles. Is it all just going out the tailpipe until the rings
get seated? Should I be changing the oil and or filter, or can I wait
until it hits the standard 4,000 mile mark?
