That is NOT a car you want.  That year series was equipped with an engine
block that was/is proven defective in terms of metallurgy.  It will not
last.  BMW was replacing entire engines and blocks on cars with that engine
with very few miles in many cases.  There is documented evidence.

In 1996 the problem was corrected.  The 740 is a wonderful car, but chances
the engine in that 1994 is bad, or will soon be.  Chances of probably 100%.

The value of those cars has necessarily plummeted.
