The wisdom I have heard from an independent audio specialist, and this
agrees with my own experience, is that Blaupunkt is nicely made but
delivers very ordinary sound. Best go Japanese eg Sony, Alpine. Avoid
Pioneer CD players; I have heard from several audio outfits that they are
very prone to serious failures.
