Dear List, I am planning to purchase an 87 GL with an AC problem. The system has been fully charged and had the dryer replaced, but is still weak. The current owner believes the problem relates to a ceramic switch located near one headlight, which was damaged by a collision with a deer. Does this make sense? What exactly is this ceramic switch? How expensive is it and how difficult is it to replace? Also, any suggestions on finding a replacement upper grill for this vehicle would be appreciated. Local VW dealership quotes $268 for it. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark Smith 59 Deluxe Micro w/ Sunroof 69 Westy Hardtop
