Hey all, A few years back I decided to take my Vanagon ice skating near South Bend, IN, which resulted in some body work and a paint job. Of course, since I'm such a cheap son of a...I had a chain shop, call them BAADCO, do the work. Needless to say the job sucked, they gave me some money back and we settled. Now the paint is peeling off the smooth, glossy, factory paint. It looks like they didn't scuff up the old paint at all before applying new paint. Here's my questions...How screwed am I? Is this the type of thing where the paint has to be chemically stripped off ? If so what is involved and how much could it cost? The body looks great with very little seam rust.
