Does anyone have any idea what to do with a Vanagon fitted with a different
engine? My coolant light sometimes continued flashing for some time after
startup (and yes, the fuelgauge did seem to read low before I'd expect it
to), but I had a GM V6 in mine (to be replaced by the SVX six).

One cure would be to disconnect the sensor! Another might be to fit a
larger expansion tank?
