I've found a totaled Subaru Legacy at an auto auction about 200 miles from where I live. My westy has a dead engine and I want to do the Subaru thing. I called the auction place and they said that they are not open to the public, only dealers, salvage guys, etc. Has anyone had a similar experience? What would be the best way to get this car? The best I can come up with is the hang outside the auction until I see someone leave with the car and flag them down and make an offer. Are any of you out there auto dealers in the Jacksonville, Fl area and want to go to an auction? Mike Barfield Tampa, FL '84 westy
