Here are the markings on my stock '81 speedo:

single red dot at 19 mph
double red dots at 34 mph
triple red dots at 53 mph

The 55 mph line is red instead of white
(fed requirement when 55 was a law we could
live with....)  All the other 5 mph increment
marks are white.

Looking at the kph marks underneath the mph
ones, it appears to me that the shift indicators
are 30 kph, 55 kph and 85 kph.
