The kit doesn't come with a cat so whoever installed it put in the cat with
the dummy oxygen sensor.  I was aware of this "issue" before getting the kit
for the customer and I'm going to deal with it (the customer's cat is already
gutted, so I am going to just put it on as is and see if it will pass
emissions.  It is an '84 Van and I am betting that this brand new motor is
going to pass emissions without the help of the cat).
As for the knock sensor, the engine I recieved has one on the block.  I don't
know if they have updated some things from the original group of engines they
sent or what.

Thanks for your post, it does look like the nicest conversion I have seen so
far.  After I get it in I'll be able to tell you more.
