Hi Folks,

            I am wondering if any one of you might be interested in a 1985
Double-Cab. I have a VW Iltis arriving soon from David Marshall at Fast
Forward. So I must reduce my current fleet of VW's by at least one.So I must
part company with my 1985 Double-Cab Transporter.

           It is a rear wheel drive model 3 door, 5 seater walk through.
It's dove blue in colour. The 1.9 litre motor has 100,000 miles on it ,with
one cylinder head replaced and the 1-3 pipe changed as well. The truck is my
daily driver . It has seen some time as a work truck. There is some surface
rust but no rot. The panels are all very strong and intact. There are some
minor dents on the body and the box has a few as well. The drop sides and
tail gate are straight and clean with no rust.

          The interior is very clean and is the black vinyl that seems to be
the most popular back in 85. The storage bay under the box is in good shape
and has no dents or rust. This truck has spent all its time in northern
Alberta where the winters are very cold, but there is no salt used what so
ever. The surface corrosion is due to the rock chips from the gravel roads.
This truck is an excellent candidate for some one looking for an easy to
restore project truck or some one looking for a work truck / daily driver
for a cheap price.

Forward is the price for non list members. The price for any one from the
list is $6950US.
That being said I am open to all reasonable offers and must sell the truck.
I may also be willing to help with the delivery depending on how busy I am
at the time, and the price agreed to. I can also assist the purchaser with
the import procedure.
