Subject:A/C refrigerant oil quantities
From:kenneth d lewis
Date:Sun, 21 May 2000 12:23:38 EDT

Greetings and salutations;

        Bentley states:
evaporator..........................2.02 oz.
accumulator..........................0.3 oz.
high-pressure hose...................0.3 oz.
low-pressure hose....................0.3 oz.
compressor..........................5.07 oz.

        Does this mean you pour 5.07 ounces in the compressor crankcase
and 2.92 into the high-pressure hose? Or do you use the oil in a
pressurized can for the freon side? Please clarify.

TIA
