When assembling the front hubs of a Syncro, the Bentley Bible calls for D6
locking compound.  I called the local VW Den of Iniquity today in search of
this compound.  After the counter kid said, "HUH?", he did some checking.
Right before I hung up on him, he told me he could get it for me only if I
wanted a case lot.

Now, is this stuff that rare?  Better yet, is there a substitute which I can
use with some certainty of success?
