Donna:

My '81 right-side mirror would fold back in high head winds.
Also from repeated door slammings.  I had tightened it several
times over the last 18 years.  On I70/I15 to Vegas, it
wouldn't stay put for a mile--at 75.  ;-)

I got some "mild" Loctite, put some on and tightened the
nut.  Put it on the bus, adjusted to "my" position and it hasn't
moved.  Stood up to the back roads of Death Valley in January
and everything else since.
