Listees: I have reluctantly decided to sell my Adventurewagen. For those of you who are not familiar with that model, it is a high-end conversion (approx. $30K new) made in Ft. Bragg, CA with a fixed high roof, beautiful Teak wood interior, and some real benefits over our beloved Westfalias. Examples: * All-weather camping with 12,000 BTU furnace (and no wet canvas worries). * More ventilation with 3 additional larger, screened windows and sunroof. * Plenty of protected, weatherproof storage- 11 cubic ft. over cab area, 2-3 times that in upper rear bunk area; more closets, cabinets, bins; all accessible at any time. * Over 6 feet of stand-up room, all the time. * A larger (2.5cf), AC/DC fridge, with a *real* freezer section. No propane lighting, can't-park-on-a-tilt, or semi-cool food problems. * A more balanced, (and better lit) interior. No listing to the left! * Standard, off-the-shelf RV parts that are available anywhere. * Seating for 5, a larger bed, filtered water system with aluminum tank, grey water tank, bigger sink, dual batteries, etc, etc. This vehicle also has the optional solar shower and full length awning. The van itself has power windows, AC, cruise control, solar tint, upgraded stereo system, quad mud flaps, and rear differential lock. It has 187K highway miles. An engine (VW remanufactured), transmission, and clutch were put in at about 135K miles. There are extensive service records from the previous two owners. Recent replacements are tires, starter, power steering rack, front heater core & blower, and a larger (5 gallon) propane tank with custom skid plate. Photos and a very detailed sales brochure (with a 30 point comparison to Westfalias) is available on my website at <www.cary.miesto.sk> Delivery in the US possible. The price is $12,950 OBO.
