Do any Vanagons have a sliding-door lock which can be locked and THEN slid
shut, or do all need to be manually locked from within or by key AFTER
being shut, as  mine does? I find this a really asinine feature. Any
Japanese vehicle has doors that can be locked BEFORE being closed.
