Subject:Re: how do we avoid blow dried preditors while traveling

Mechanics I have known in my travels and at home:

New Braunfels, Texas, 30 minutes North of San Antonio, right on Interstate-35

Canyon Automotive
457 S. Business 35
P.O.Box 311452
New Braunfels, Texas 78131
830-625-4008

Honest, friendly, good work, reasonable priced. Lots of vans,
Vanagons and earlier in parking lot is what attracted me.

Atlanta, Georgia, East side

Advanced Imports
731 East College Avenue
Decatur, GA 30030
404-373-7963

Excellent mechanic, probably does more with air cooled, but has done
good work on my 85 Westy. As honest as they come, and will not sell
you something that you don't need. Reasonable priced. Sometimes not
a speedy as I would like, but then, nobody gets it done yesterday.
Other times he will stop what he is doing and help you.
