Many thanks to all the list members who responded to my plea for help with
cold running problems on my 87GL. All the advice I received was helpful in
some way. As it turns out my problems were due to a faulty O2 sensor, an
incorrectly adjusted throttle, and a frayed and occasionally sticking
accelerator cable.
