If anyone needs the step-by-step instructions on how-to
install a dual battery relay and the parts needed
that I posted to the list in 1999, let me know and I'll
email them to you, in case you can't find them in the archives.
Warning: they're long and detailed.

No one has complained yet that following those instructions
made their vanagon blow up, so it must not be too bad.
But to let you know, on my own vanagon, I use the Sure Power
1202R isolator, which I'm personally a big fan of.
