The door panel just pops off. Just get under the corner with your fingers and pull straight out. There are kinda like little plastic snaps spaced a few inches apart that hold the panel on. You may be able to just pull back the corner that has the speaker in it. Once you can get at the back side of the speaker, there is a threaded plastic ring that cinches the speaker into the hole in the door panel. Just unscrew the ring, unplug the wires, and the speaker comes right out. dave.nielsen@surf1.de dave.nielsen@usa.net dave.nielsen@hawkdriver.com -----Original Message----- From: roch roch <roch333@hotmail.com> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Date: Sunday, June 25, 2000 5:15 AM Subject: westy speaker >In replacing the driver side speaker...do I need to take off the whole door >panel or just a piece to get to speaker?
