Katy, After a flush and fill, there will be air bubbles in the system, no matter how good of a job Chris did. Before you do anything else, bleed the system. Bentley and I believe Vanagon.com have instructions on how to bleed. It's much easier with two people and doesn't take long at all. -Karl > Dear Volks, > > God bless Tom and anyone else for getting Gerry up again!! > > Well took Jezebel (89 Westy) to guru Chris in Decorah (with many thanks to > list members Jim and Liz in Decorah who made me feel like family-they're > GREAT people) Chris put on the 3 new belts, flushed my coolant system, put > in the new Dexcool and tightened up a clamp which had produced a small > leak.
