I have an '90 Syncro with plastic bumpers cum chin spoiler.  Since I plan to
get rid of them, does that spoiler serve any real purpose other than being a
rather mediocre snow plow?  Also, for anyone who has removed them: did you
plug the mounting holes for the attendant front door trim, do the necessary
body work or just leave the trim in place?
