Well the $30-$40 battery eluded me. No Wal-mart or Target stores in my
area of New York.
Sears said no such battery. Called five places. Prices ranged from
$59.95 (Exide) to $85 (Interstate). I went to the $59.95 place and the
price suddenly became $69.95. Not wanting to lug my used battery around
any longer, I paid the money and got a no-name NAPA 50 month battery.
I wanted a non-sealed battery but this one is sealed.
Battery lid still wont stay down due to the battery being too high when
the terminal guard is in place. Had to sit in the seat, reach back and
hold it down while sliding the seat back. What a design!?
