Subject:Re: FW: Green coolant hurt engine?

Dear Mark,

There is no bleeder valve on any Vanagon rear heater!
There is only an on/off shutoff valve.

The only "bleeder valve" on Vanagons is in the engine bay towards the
firewall -- it is made of plastic, easily broken, and offer TWO positions:
bleed ON (to get the air bubbles out while adding new coolant) and bleed
OFF (for normal driving).

Cheers,
MJS
