Fellow Listees,
I checked the archives and found a great deal of wisdom regarding window
crank clearance, etc., and despite all that have decided to install a pair
of front speakers in my westy.  I've got a plan for mounting these without
hindering window crank operation -- I'll post my findings after it works!
Could someone with existing door-mounted speakers give me measurements to
aid in locating said speakers?  I would like to mount these (4") speakers
in as close to factory location as possible, unless someone convinces me
they'll sound better elsewhere in the door.
FWIW I replaced the original rear 4" speakers a pair of 5 1/4" speakers,
and though it is tight, they DO fit.
