Ok gang, I give up. Many of you have said that you can remove the rear drum without removing the 46 mm nut. Well on my 84 westy, you can not, so I went and bought a 46 mm axle nut removal tool, beat the hell out of it and presto, off comes the drum and hub. Well, I need to replace my drums. But removing the hub piece from the drum is proving elusive. yes, I have removed the two 11 mm bolts. Yes, I have dropped it on the driveway from a reasonable height. Yes, I have beaten it severely with a bfh and it seem to still refuse to separate. Any ideas, I really want to go to High Country. Thanks to all. Jim Jim Henry Durham, NC 84 westy
