My $0.02 Worth (adjusted for inflation)

I was just searching the Archives for opinions about replacing the Westy
skylight and came upon an ongoing thread re: The Bus Depot vs. The Skylight
Guy (see below)

Seems Ron got a little bent out of shape when he thought Pierre was
comparing HIS product to the Skylight Guys (since they are apparently the
same product) seemingly without actually buying two and putting them side by
side! But Ron, do you think that possibly Pierre COULD be saying..... He
is unable to compare it with the Bus Depot's product as he doesn't have one
to compare it with?..........syntax???? Relax Ron, take a deep breath.
You're doing just fine!

From Pierre LaChance

>> I just changed my skylight about two months ago from Guy...everything was
>> fine with me... good service, easy to put on, does not leak etc .
>> Sorry, cannot compare with Bus depot

From Ron,
>I have to laugh when I see a post like the latter (above). It's a good
>example of how you can't necessarily believe everything you read on the
>internet. Unless the person who posted it ordered two - one from me and one
>from the Skylight Guy - how could he possibly know how the two compare? He
>can only comment on the one that he has. And if he HAD ordered one from
>each of us, he'd have discovered, to his surprise, that they are in fact
one
>and the same!

At any rate, now we know where to buy our new skylight thanks as usual to
the List.
