I keep these parts in stock as I have had several occasions to help customers
with emergency shifter repair.  I would advise getting a Bentley Manual for
rebuilding the shifter and future projects.  If you can't afford one right
now I could include a photocopy of the page that shows the exploded view of
the shifter.  Give me a call or email.
