In the process of tuning my 84 GL this morning the lite blue wire that is
outside the larger wire bundle attached to the alternator got pushed against
the alt. I noticed a blue glow where the wire touched. the insulation had
started to melt and expose the copper wire
.  Glad I caught it before it shorted out.
