I believe this reference is to a filter in the pump. Later models did not
have the inline filter ahead of the pump, but do have an internal screen on
the inlet side of the pump. I added a clear plastic inline filter ahead of
the pump on mine. I used a NAPA 3002 (mostly because I had it on hand), but
that required switching to a 3/8" hose.

Anyone know of a filter with 11mm or 7/16" inlet and outlet?
I believe the square plastic Bosch has a 7mm inlet and 11mm outlet, is that
correct?
