My '85 Westy has two batteries & both have metal lids missing their screws.
I would like to "seal" these batteries.  What is meant by "sealing"?  Must I
apply some sort of gasket or sealing compound on the rim, then replace the
missing screws?  And if they are vented into the van interior, how can I
change that to outboard?  I spend half the year camping in my Westy & feel
this is crucial.
