Sounds like the time when I charged up my Carat.  I had to put a good bit
more than I thought I would, into the system before the compressor would kick
in and before this the pressures were the same.  Is your compressor kicking
in and still showing equal pressures?  Something is rotten in Denmark (and
Hiawaii).
