There should be a ball in there being pushed against the outlet by a spring. Operative word here is "should"; some (like mine) dont. Mine leaks like that as well. I was going to replace it but then I found out how much they cost the trouble no longer seemed so urgent. Depending on what mood I am in it may or may not bother me. When it does I stick a cloth in there. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM]On Behalf Of Jeffrey R Sent: Friday, August 18, 2000 5:46 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: water leaks from outlet when using westy sink pump When I use the electric water pump for the sink in my 83.5 Westy water comes out on the outside of the bus through the "city" water hookup. I'm assuming there's a one-way valve somewhere in the system so this won't occur. Anyone know where it is and how to replace it? Is it in the faucet itsel?. I would appreciate leads before I begin tearing at the system. TIA Jeff 83.5 Westy Currently in Boulder, CO
