There used to be a product on the market called "Glass Wax". It was a pink colored liquid that one applied to the glass; in a short period of time, it would dry to a powder coating which you would then wipe off with a clean dry cloth. It did a pretty fine job. A bunch of fine dust lingered after the wiping action but this would disappear a short distance down the highway. You can't eliminate gravity so eliminate water - I used to use this product that you would apply to the windows and wipe off after it dried - made the windows look real nice - that was years ago, I don't remember who made it. >From: Bill Davidson <wdavidson@thegrid.net> > >Okay, this is way low on my list of irritations, but... > > it would really be nice to know if anyone has a technique for washing >windows with a squeegee at the gas station that doesn't mess up the whole >front of the van... the dirty water just streams down the front of the >van... then it dries into dirt crusted streaks... looks really bad on my >white Westy. > >Thanks for any tips... > >Bill
