They used to make windex with vinegar in it - maybe you could use a vinegar solution.... but I wouldn't keep it under the rear seat, might wrench your back just getting it out. Or if a self serve car wash is around, you could just spray the entire van down with spot-free rinse.... That works for me. Then too, if you'll know you'll be in a dusty area, like the oceanside or offroad, you could always cover the front windsheild with saran wrap in multiple layers and then just peel off one layer at a time. >From: Bill Davidson <wdavidson@thegrid.net> >Perhaps just taking a small bottle of windex along would be the trick? > > >Bill > > >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Michael Schiesser" <fruitlands@yahoo.com> >To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> >Sent: Monday, August 28, 2000 12:48 PM >Subject: Window washing > > > > I'm CC'ing my bro on this one because we were > > traveling last weekend through the area around Mt St > > helens and I chewed him out when he tried to do a good > > thing by washing the windows, and you know what > > happens...
