no doubt. case in point; my wife, didn't much care for my VW "fetish" until
we got our '90 GL. she was slowly won over after a couple long road trips
with the kids (stowable in the back when the bed is pulled out). but i
didn't really notice the change in her until we bought a new 4runner last
week and she opted to drive the bus instead. i was so proud. there's no
other car quite like it.
