Fellows and fellaws:
In my case (Westfalia '84), I installed an incandescent auxiliary dome light
sold by Western Auto on the track above the sliding door (between the air
outlets). I tapped into the courtesy light above the driver door and cross
switched into a ground connection. The light will turn on with the courtesy
light when doors are open or can be turned on directly via it own switch.
Two things: had to cut and slightly bend the metal frames to fit the light
and since the PO had an alarm installed there are ground switches on all
doors which turn on all lights.
