All this talk of tires. I mean it's a bit confusing--I have no apologies. Go ahead and give me with your best shot. On my 2WD Westfalia I currently have the DPOs old Michelin 185R 14 on steel wheels which are the narrower steel factory wheels--is that 5 1/2" as opposed to 6" I believe. (I think a wider 6" steel wheel is available in steel and the alloys are 6" --is that right?) I need new tires all around. Will 205s fit on the stock 5 1/2" wheels. I want the 205s because I want to upgrade to the factory alloys eventually but the cost of the tires will tap me out for a bit--and I don't want to have to buy tires twice. Or will 195s fit on the alloys also? I currentlly have Michelin XZX 185 R 14 on the front and a slightly more agressive michelin 185 R 14 94R on the rear. Where these ever the right tire for a Westfalia or are they passenger car tires? From what I gather from the most recent tire thread the Michelin Agilis 61 or the Michelin MX are the tires of choice in the Michelin line. Although it doesn't seem the Agilis 61 is avaialble in the 205. Then there's the LTX? Am I right? And 185R 14s aren't made anymore. I mean this tire thing is a bit confusing.
