OK, gotta jump in here with my 2 Canadian Cents worth. Bought my '87
Westy over seven years ago and have ALWAYS used it as the daily driver.
Cannot afford another car at the same time. I go to work in it, work with
it, work on it and it has ALWAYS gotten me to wherever I was going despite
all the work I've had to do on it. For me it is the ultimate do everything
well vehicle. Hauls my tools and supplies to and from the job site, keeps
the beer cold for after work, takes the family for vacations, gets me
introductions to some of the greatest people I've ever met, and keeps me busy
in my spare time.
Cheers
