Since you asked, I love sunroofs.  When we shop for a car, the 2 mandatory
features are a sunroof and a standard transmission.  My all-time favorite
vehicle was a Vanagon with the huge center sunroof.  Sure wish I could have
found a good Syncro with one; I would sacrifice the A/C in a heartbeat.  That
said, to the same extent that I like factory installed, sliding metal
sunroofs, I hate the aftermarket glass moonroofs.  They may leak, increase
wind noise and they just look tacky.  Also, since they are generally a
one-size-fits-all item, their curve may not close match the crown of the
Vanagon roof.  Those are my thoughts.
