Hello All,
Those of you that have had the a/c duct repaired due to recall, this
question is for you. I called my local VW dealer and gave my vin #. They
said that there were no open recalls on my year/model. Does this a/c duct
recall only apply to certain years? I have a '87 Westy. The service guy
didn't think mine was done and said they are only authorized to do the '88's
and up. What years are your vans that had the recall completed? He then
mentioned that there are several recalls for the vanagons, but none applied
to me. (??) just want to make sure I am not getting the run around.
Thanks, Jen
