I'm installing a set of Bosch Super W7DTC spark plugs in my 83.5 Watercooled 1.9 liter. The spark plugs come pre-gapped at 0,8 mm. This is the spark plug with three contacts (?) that surround and serve the electrote. Where a normal spark plug has only one--the W7DTC has three. (I'm not sure what you call this contact--but it's that normal little tab that you gap between it and the electrode on the spark plug) Anyway the W7DTC are set at the factory and I'm assuming should be installed as is at 0,8mm-- bentley calls for a gap of 0,7 + 0,1 mm --so this seems to fall in that range. (How exactly you would re-gap the W7DTC I'm not sure. It looks complicated and certainly couldn't be done with a flat feeler guage?) Anybody had good experiences with these plugs?
